I don't know if this building is listed, but if not it certainly should be, as it is very probably the only branch building of the L&Y Bank to survive in its original condition: even the sliding sash windows have not been altered. It would make an absolutely excellent home for a much-extended Bacup Museum, properly supported by Lancashire County Council.
