A strange housing development seemingly in a woodland clearing. It was the site of a "Metal Works", according to 1972-73 OS map. I understand that there was a company that made tubes but it went out of business. Further clearance of the woodland must have taken place to facilitate the building of ten or so large detached houses. I guess that some DIY clearance has been undertaken here to open up a view out. The viewpoint is the public bridleway south from Kington Lane.
