Storrs Common is just NE of the village of Ingleton. The owner of the house was busy painting the exterior and I complimented his brushwork as I changed out of my boots at the roadside. He said that he'd just had to wait since the end of July for a day with suitable weather to allow him to get to work. He can just be seen up a ladder to the right of the white building.
