The chapel is on the top of St. Catherine's Hill, and a bit of a climb to reach it. When it was in use, it can't have been much fun to have had to get up here, if you were elderly or infirm, especially in wet weather, but perhaps people were more hardy in those long ago days. It is surprising that it seems to have been abandoned as early as the first half of the 16th century, and no replacement built. More photos:- Image
