All the buildings shown here in Sandringham Road, as far as the orange barriers, are being constructed on the site of the former Battle of Britain public house, which was demolished in April 2008, and its car park and beer garden. Quite slowly, the nine new three bedroom houses "in fine contemporary specification" (says the sales blurb) are materialising. The one by the far orange barriers is available for £175,000. Others have already been sold. Image
