Eastham War Memorial

The Eastham War Memorial is in the form of a stone statue mounted on a stone obelisk which bears the names of those of Eastham parish who were killed during the two world wars. It stands in its own memorial garden, outside St Mary's Church (the lych gate can be seen behind, and to the left of, the memorial in this photograph). The inscription on the base reads: "IN HONOUR OF THOSE FROM THIS PARISH WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT EUROPEAN WAR 4 AUG 1914 TO 11 NOV 1918"
