Rivet bench mark below the water tower in Boughton

Close to the centre of this photo is a damaged rivet bench mark on the canalside wall below the Boughton Water Tower. Above the point of what is left of the arrowhead is a flat rectangular depression cut into the sloping sandstone. The depression would have accepted the levelling staff. See also Image
