Holly trees at The Hollies near Lordshill

Every 20 yards or so there is a mature holly tree planted, some protected by fencing, others showing distinct signs of maturity, some virtually decaying on the grass. I suppose that they were all intentionally planted here either for business purposes or for pleasure, or both.
