Colyers Lane forms a convenient cut-off between the Northumberland Heath area and the A206 trunk. It forms part of bus route 89, a long route from Lewisham to Slade Green station, here seen exemplified by London Central double-decker PVL 258, en route to Slade Green. The road is bordered by well-kept houses of a variety of types.
