A diesel 'HST' at speed on the up-line at Rossington Level Crossing. The East Coast livery belongs to the successor company formed by the Department of Transport after the failure of the previous franchise. The train imaged appears to be the Highland Chieftain running late at 14:37h. It is formed of diesel powered stock because the electric railway ends at Edinburgh and it has originated via Perth from Inverness which was departed at 07:55h.
