This 14th Century burial vault contains the remains of members of the Kennedy family, including Archibald Kennedy who was responsible for the death of Covenanter Gilbert McAdam who is buried at nearby Kirkmichael graveyard. See http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1455219
