Old Engine Shed at the Terminus of the Dinorwig Quarry Line

This old engine shed is located close to the point where the wagons hauled from the Dinorwig Quarry, each of which carried four smaller wagons filled with slate, were unloaded; the smaller wagons then being dispatched singly down the steep incline to the docks below.
