A Cross Country train, southbound has just pulled up on platform 1. It was a wet and desperate Sunday evening with many trains delayed or cancelled and with bus services replacing some. I was nearly three hours late on my journey from Exeter to Worcester and matters weren't helped by the replacement bus being delayed still further waiting for yet another late train and nobody bothering to tell the passengers what was happening.
