Pencoed railway station is split in two by Hendre Road level crossing. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2269966 This view, from the station footbridge, shows platform 2, for eastbound trains. The platform, on the left side of the tracks, is set back about 80 metres from the level crossing. The white car has not stalled, but is proceeding across the level crossing.
