Originally erected beside the school buildings which in 1931 became part of the Royal Infirmary, this memorial commemorates former pupils of George Watson's Boys College who lost their lives in WW1. It was dissembled and re-erected here at the new school in 1931 and has since been engraved with names of former pupils who were killed in WW2 and subsequent conflicts.
