Hatchment, St Peter's Church

The eight point, star shaped hatchment of Prince Leopold (1853-84). He was the fourth and youngest son of Queen Victoria. In 1881 he was created Duke of Albany and Earl of Clarence. The hatchment is in the Chancel. Prince Leopold visited the area regularly after graduating from Oxford University in 1875.
