A telephoto view eastwards from Lock No 7. Since the construction of this newly cut section of the canal, and the lock in 2008-2009, delays have meant that the some of the surrounds and the towpath have become overgrown and will need clearing again before the new projected opening of the canal in 2011. The last working boat travelled the original course of this canal in 1928. The towpath and Hanbury Road are to the right of the canal.
