Situated on the A465 at Pandy, this inn also provides bunkhouse and bed and breakfast facilities for travellers and walkers. Just behind the inn, a long Freightliner train (yellow sign on wagon) is rattling over the bridge on the Hereford-Newport line, so it could be noisy here if you have a room at the back. In the distance is Hatterrall Hill on the Black Mountains ridge.
