The new(ish) bridge over the Trent frames the towers of the Sugar Factory. The campaign (the season of harvesting sugar beet and bringing it to the factory for processing) is well under way as evidenced by the steam coming from the factory. The Bridge otherwise acts as a convenient link from King's Marina to Aldi but I'm sure was intended for grander purposes.
