Built to the designs of Albert Toft in 1922 to commemorate the dead of the First and Second World Wars. Atop is a bronze soldier with his rifle upturned. It is within the Streatham Common Conservation Area. The memorial, its surrounding gardens and the flats behind, Albert Carr Gardens, stand on land once belonging to Coventry Hall which survived until 1982.
