A local pub, which has a pool table, and a patio beer garden. It also has what was once a bowling green - a feature that many older pubs once had. In December 2010 the freehold of the pub had been for sale for several months. The guide asking price was then £299,000 plus VAT. Meanwhile the pub was and is very much in business. The plan was dropped after fierce local opposition & it is now being used for housing.
