Before Electrification Bramford

Image: © roger geach Taken: 14 May 1984

The Norwich to London Liverpool Street Railway line at Bramford as seen from the picnic area by the River Gipping on a warm May afternoon. This was before the line to Norwich was electrified and the overhead wires and masts spoilt the view of the trains.Work on the electrification has been taken place and if one looks closely the base for the overhead masts can be seen by the locomotive.
