Cut bench mark with bolt to the right of the entrance in the tower of the former church (http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2204417 ). It was a side level on the London to Doncaster 1GL levelling line of 1848 - 1851. See http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm30196 for details.
