Comparison with Image (from February 2009, also in snow) will show that the former Boys & Boden builders' merchants yard http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1315374 is finally being cleared for redevelopment. The builders' merchants moved to new premises in 2007. Removal of the three buildings has changed this view significantly, revealing terraced houses on Frankwell Street and the back of an old mill building on Commercial Street http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1386669. I believe the new development will be apartments which will doubtless change this view again.
