A local waymarked trail signposted 'Town Walk' leads along the riverbank to the north-west of the town and looks to be a beautiful and easy walk at any time of the year, but after a light snowfall, in a sunlit hoar frost I must say it could be argued to be at its very best. Mallards seem to prosper on this part of the Irfon and inject some colour, noise and activity to this section.
