Remains of steam engines - Garston

This pair of inverted vertical compound marine steam engines is in the former Garston Ship Breakers site; now completely abandoned. They are a very incomplete handed pair with no obvious marks to identify them. I think they might be from the former floating crane Birket but have not been able to confirm that yet. The one on the left is lying down but the one on the right is the right way up. they are about 12' tall, 9' long and 6' wide. I suspect they are really beyond salvation. A visit in October 2013 revealed that they were no longer there.
