This view better illustrates the overall size, the massive engine house and the generous fenestration of a late cotton spinning mill (lighting's flat though). Built in 1914 and used for aircraft manufacture in WW1. Started cotton production in 1919. Architect was P S Stott. Engine was a massive cross compound of 2000 hp by Urmpson & Thompson
