North of Southwold the sandy cliffs are without protection and the sea has been eating large junks out of them for decades. Two houses are now only metres away from the clifftop and it is feared they might fall in one of this coming winter's gales. Here the owners of one of the properties can be seen standing on the edge of the cliff whilst being filmed and interviewed by one of the TV crews who come visiting in order to report about new developments. Update: The house, its name was Thursley, was demolished on 4 April 2011.
