View to the north from the tower of Gloucester Cathedral. In the near distance is an out-of-town shopping centre and park-and-ride car park which was built on the site of the former Gloucester Livestock Market on St Oswold's Way. The market was once the second largest livestock market in the country replaced an earlier market on Bruton Way, where the bus station is in the city centre in the 1950s but never recorded after the Foot and Mouth outbreak in 2001 and the site was bulldozed in 2003 to make way for the present developments. The Malvern Hills can be seen on the horizon.
