Looking along St Mary's Gate from, St Ann's Square, towards The Arndale Centre and beyond that, (through the bridge) Market Street. Much has changed since 1977 (Image]). Most noticeably, the pedestrianisation of St Mary's Gate and Market Street as well as the redevelopment of the Arndale Centre following the 1996 bombing.
