Monmouth School's music department is housed in the Glover Music School (GMS), Glendower Street, where much of its activity takes place. The GMS was opened here in 1990. Among its facilities are seven practice studios, three classrooms, an ICT (information and communication technologies) suite and an auditorium for small-scale performances. Tuition is available for all orchestral instruments as well as voice, organ, piano, kit percussion, classical and electric guitar, cornet, tenor horn and euphonium.
