What a fine impressive church this is. The tower dominates the churchyard, sitting a good half-mile south of the village it serves. It is unfortunate that the south porch is cement-rendered: its only saving grace is the fine embattled gable. In the outer south wall of the nave is an arched and recessed tomb, its occupant unknown. It is worthwhile noting at this point that other images for this church are in the adjacent square TG89 66, but the porch which is a primary object in this description is actually in TG88 66.
