An East Kent Bristol LHS bus turns into Crowbridge Road from New Town Road on its way to the South Willesborough area of Ashford. The vehicle is painted in Sealink colours rather than the National Bus Company poppy red and presumably had recently transferred to Ashford from Dover or one of the other sea ports served by East Kent. Note that the car behind is not turning down Crowbridge Road - before the construction of the Channel Tunnel and the high speed rail link there was a level crossing here, joining New Town Road with Hunter Avenue and the Willesborough part of Ashford. Behind the car is Ashford Railway Works
