Site of Northfleet Cement Works

Northfleet Cement Works was originally opened in 1970 but ceased operations in 2008. The whole site has been cleared including the two distinctive chimneys next to the Thames which could be seen from miles around. Cement lorries still visit the site, however, as can be seen here.
