Seen from the western end of a very short stretch of accessible riverside at Northfleet, this view sees cement lorries parked on the site of the now-demolished Northfleet Cement Works. On the right is Northfleet Lower Light at India Arms Wharf which was built in 1883 and was discontinued in 2001. Despite the appearance in the photograph, there is no access to it. Beyond, on the other side of the Thames, are the cranes of Tilbury Docks.
