View NE, towards Warrington and Manchester, also Runcorn and Liverpool; ex-Birkenhead Joint (London & North Western & Great Western), (Manchester) - Warrington - Chester main line, junction of LNW loop to Runcorn connecting there with Crewe - Liverpool line. The train is the 10.31 Manchester Exchange to Bangor, headed by Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 No. 45044.
