Old railway station, Ardglass

The nine-mile branch from Downpatrick to Ardglass opened in 1892 and closed in 1950 – a very short existence. The photo shows Ardglass station 56 years after closure – passenger station on the left, goods shed on the right. The line continued (behind the photographer) to the harbour.
