The school is run by Birmingham City Council for children of primary school age with special educational needs. It is home to the Springfield Environmental Study Centre. It is less than 1km west of Temple Balsall, nearly 3km from Fen End. There had clearly been an event; tables were set out at the front of the building. Slightly deflated soft-play cubes bumped along in the light breeze without perturbing the magnificent setting of mature conifers. http://www.spfldhs.bham.sch.uk/index.html
