Milne's Primary School

Built in 1846 to a design by Thomas Mackenzie, this fine building was superseded as the secondary school when the new Milne's High School was built. A few years ago there was a major controversy when the council wanted to build a new primary school and abandon this one, but the parents and villagers won the argument and this is still Milne's Primary School.
