Gyllyngdune Gardens

Approaching the Princess Pavilion (accessed via the steps on the right hand side of the picture, just behind the arch), the gardens change from woodland to more decorative. Gyllyngdune Gardens were originally created and opened in 1907. A £900,000 Lottery grant was awarded in 2009 to renovate the gardens (http://www.bbc.co.uk/cornwall/content/articles/2009/04/15/gardens_places_feature.shtml ).
