Situated in Cawthorne Street, the original TE dates from 1952 as indicated with the George VI cipher above the entrance door on the left, whilst the later extension can just be seen on the right. The words "TELEPHONE EXCHANGE" are carved on the lower wall to the right of the original building. Its postcode is LA1 1TG.
