HIBALDSTOW and MORTAL ASH

Response (20 Apr 2024)

• Patrol the area on an evening concentrating on the laybys on Mortal Ash and those on the A15.
• Discuss with Safer Neighbourhood the possibility of signage at the locations.
• Task special constables to patrol the area when on duty.
• Analyse calls for service for specific areas and times.
• Based on analysis ascertain whether overnight operation is required.

POACHING –
LAMPING, HARECOARSING

Response (20 Apr 2024)

• There have been four reports of poaching over the last two months.
• These have been MESSINGHAM, REDBOURNE and TWIGMOOR.
• There are a number of fields now containing sheep and vehicles have been seen in these areas and there has been previous reports of sheep theft over the last two years on the run up to EASTER.
• Link in with the RTF with a view to joint overnight operation if calls increase.

SYLVESTER STREET and repeat Criminal Damage

• Highlight the issue to HUNTCLIFF School as pupils are from there.
• Reassurance visit to the victim as Occurrences have been closed at source and there has been no NPT engagement.
• Crime prevention advice to be given to the victim.
• Humber talking to be carried out at the location.
• Patrols of the area at school leaving times.
