Selworthy is one of five villages in the area owned by the National Trust, being part of the former Holnicote estate sold to the NT in 1944. Thus it has many tourists. This is the tea room that caters for them all. The standard colour that the NT has adopted for all its properties is this "Dorset (sic) cream".
