Virtually all of this area appeared to be geared around pastural farming. There was some nice woodland too. I came across fields which were lying fallow, fields which had been cut for hay and fields with cows in them. The abundance of clover and thin bladed grasses would indicate that the soil was quite poor. However, there was an abundance of wildlife. It was a great place for walking as there was a variety of scenery and in the background, you can see the Dee estuary and the Wirral Peninsula (see photo).
