Taken from across the road from the shop next to Soames' Coach yard. The Post Office has been in its present form since around 1950 when the then owners bought the premises and expanded the business and premises to those that exist today. Celebrities from Otley include Roger Osborne who scored the winning goal for Ipswich Town in 1978 and the renowned animal impersonator Percy Edwards.
