Tan yr Wyddfa is the club 'hut' of the Derby based Oread Mountaineering Club and is located in the small village of Rhyd-Ddu. The vehicle seen parked to the left of the hut is in the hut's (private) car park; it's fortunate that the club owned that piece of land as the original car park now lies beneath the track of the recently reinstated Welsh Highland Railway.
