The lower floor has offices and toilets with a WW2 exhibition on the upper floor. The main building behind the photographer was used during the war as the Officers Mess but fell into disrepair in the 1950s and was demolished. Castle Archdale was the operating base for Sunderland and Catalina flying boats using Lower Lough Erne.
