Flotsam and Jetsam

This is the pile of rubbish washed up by the sea at the head of the beach in Seal Shore. I suppose, strictly speaking, it isn't really flotsam, because it is no longer actually floating, and only some of it is jetsam, because only some of it has actually been jettisoned overboard from vessels. Whatever it is called, it doesn't improve the view.
