Looking towards Station Road, the railway runs to the right. The purpose of this footpath is unclear as it is only accessible from Station Road at its southern end. Getting to the other end is much easier and less intimidating by using Station Road and Main Street. Even early 25-inch OS maps do not provide any clue. It does however provide a nice view of the railway from the footbridge. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1941541
