Town Lade

The town lade carries water through the centre of Perth, originally to power mills such as these at the former City Mills. The Ramada Jarvis hotel in the background, formerly known as the City Mills hotel, has a viewing panel set into the ground floor to allow guests to see the water wheel still in situ.
